# Bezel facet

Also called bezels, crown mains, kite facets, upper main facets

Bezel facets are the 8 large four-sided facets on the crown of a round brilliant. They run from the table to the girdle.

## In more detail

The crown angle is measured on the bezels. Their slope bends the outgoing light and sets the crown height.

Their slope is the crown angle on the proportion diagram.
